My name’s Sebastian Black, and I want to buy you. I could have any woman I want, but I choose you.
NO RELATIONSHIP, JUST SEX.
Here’s my offer…
I’ll put your name in my LITTLE BLACK BOOK, and when I want you, I’ll call you. When I call, you’re going to come, in more ways than one. It will be mutually pleasurable for both of us.
There are only two rules:
DON'T EVER DENY ME.
DON'T FALL IN LOVE.
If you do either, I’ll remove you from my book and payment stops.
Do we have an understanding?
I had heard a lot of hype around this book, so naturally I was intrigued. I picked it up and finished it within a few hours, mostly because I wanted to know where the story was headed. Let's start at the beginning...
Sebastian apparently only gets off on girls he can purchase, I mean that literally. There is being a call girl and then there is being property. He owns his girls by setting up accounts and depositing money into those accounts regularly. When he summons you better show. Oh and he is even nice enough to give you a cartoon nickname!
Enter Roz Harris aka Jessica Rabbit. Apparently this is Sebastian's version of a unicorn. She is young, beautiful, and a woman who is not going to just hop into bed with the playboy....or is she. She is destitute and raising a little brother and living in a car, so maybe being paid for sex is not such a bad idea. These two share more than just an intimate attraction to each other, little does either know, they share a devastating past as well.
Is this the best book of the year, no. But it is entertaining if not a little rushed at the end....
I give this 3.5 lipsticks. It kept my attention, sorta.
