Product Description:

in-home oxygen peel for all skin types

philosophy®:  a peel, or rapid exfoliation of the skin, is indicated for fine lines, uneven skin tone, dirty pores, acne and general environmental damage.  if you were to seek medical intervention for these conditions, a chemical peel, laser treatment or even injections may be suggested.  we would like you to consider a product that allows you to do multiple in-home peels in the privacy of your own home.  regular in-home peels can help to buffer fine lines, minimize enlarged pores, improve skin texture and help keep your skin radiantly clear.  if you still feel you need improvement, see a qualified plastic surgeon or dermatologist.

kit includes:

the oxygen peel catalase enzyme capsules, net wt 0.28 oz (8.0g)(10 capsules)
the oxygen peel oxygen foam, 2 oz (56.7g)
one container for mixing
one spatula
oxygen foam: hydrogen peroxide chemically reacts with the catalase enzyme, bathing your skin in oxygen.
catalase enzyme capsules:  topical catalase enzyme mixed fresh per use for maximum efficacy.  Helps to gently exfoliate your skin, keeping it radiantly clear.

for external use only.  keep out of reach of children.  discontinue use if irritation occurs.  avoid contact with eyes.

Philosophy has never been a huge hit with me.  Their main ingredients include things like cetyl alcohol and hydrogen peroxide, and let's be honest, even someone with no skin care education background can figure out this is drying and damaging.  Yet, somehow this product line does incredibly well.  Go figure.

I tried this peel for 3 weeks (every other week like you should with ANY peel), and I have to tell you.  I HATED it.  The application is goopy (for lack of a better word), complicated, and well, painful.  I have an oily skin type which is why I even tried this, and I still had issues with burning and irritation because it stripped my skin and made me feel incredibly tender.

Yes, peels are supposed to have a little sensation.  That being said, it should dissipate within an hour or so, this one didn't.  This peel didn't even come close to showing me the results it claims.  I was so disappointed that I have decided I will never use another Philosophy product again.

I give this NO lipsticks.  Avoid this product, ESPECIALLY if you are already a dry or sensitive skin type!!!!   A better choice?  Murad's Age Reform Peel 4 Pack for $45.... So MUCH BETTER!!!
