My Review:

I received this ARC for an honest review.

I absolutely LOVE this book!  Ash is fantastic, although I would say at first I was wondering what the hell his problem was.  I have read only a few books from the male POV, and some were disappointing.  This one was not.  It was told so well that I actually felt the pain and passion fly off the page!  It is a heartfelt story of a guy who is just about to start his life when tragedy strikes and everything changes.

Ash is deeply heartbroken and reacts in a way that makes him seem like he just doesn't care.  But the truth is he is feeling it so deep that he is afraid to show what is really going on with him.  I loved watching him mature and move forward with his life.  He went from heartbreaker to complete romantic and honestly it felt natural.  Enter Cara.  She is a good girl, through and through.  Quiet, reserved, very witty and the perfect match for someone like Ash.

When she enters Ash's life it becomes clear to him that she is the one girl he can't play.  She is the one girl he has to be honest with and can't hide from.  She is the ONE.  Of course they have their ups and downs and given the cast of characters around them (oh how I love the secondary characters in this book!) it is always a new set of feelings and adventures.  Some are great, some not so much.  But the drama was minimal, and truth be told, I needed a feel good book right now.  I definitely got it!

The  You just have to read it.  There is a reason people are giving this 5 stars and above, it's that wonderful!

I give this book 5 lipsticks!  I loved it!

About the Author

I am a wife, a mom, an author, and a lover of all things chocolate, well, anything sweet really. While stuffing chocolate in my face, I enjoy reading young adult and new adult novels furiously, and spending time with my husband and two adorable children who keep me on my peppermint pink painted toes. Those same children who inspire me to tell silly stories that cause hysterical giggles to tumble from their bellies. I love to laugh and love to have a good cry, especially after reading a novel that stretches my soul, one that makes me feel, and lingers in the corner of my heart. I’m a hopeless romantic and a happily ever after fanatic, and I love to write about LOVE. I began writing when I was in middle school, penning anything from short stories, to poetry, and then later moved on to write children’s books. I have now endeavored into New Adult and Contemporary Romance novels and am loving every minute of it. My first novel, Love Love, was released in May, 2013.
