Love, Succumb (Obsessed Men #1) Review!!!

Two souls …
Destined to be together
But just can’t be …
Eve’s life is going well -A job she enjoys, friends she loves, and a boyfriend who loves her and is dedicated to helping her achieve her end goal: Revenge.
Rene Ackerley happens.
A brilliant, beautiful man who has the world at the tip of his fingers. Money, Power, Respect, he has it all.
At thirty, he is the leader of a world-wide syndicate so powerful that its existence is almost legendary.
He is also the leader of the very men who took everything away from Eve.
The instant their eyes fall on each other, obsession becomes as real as the air they breathe.
They crave each other like drugs. They can’t bear to be apart.
But there is Bash. The man who has been in love with Eve since he was a young boy. She is all he knows. He will rather die or kill than be without her…

Wow...where do I begin.  First I need to say that Eve was completely awesome and gave me this arc for an honest review.

Eve is a great character.  She is complicated in that she is strong and capable but still vulnerable.  Given her past and the pain she has endured I am not surprised by her strength or her vulnerability.  She made me like her more over time, at first she can seem a bit harsh and off putting.  But by the end of the book you really care about her.

Rene made me effing crazy.  For more than half the book I wasn't sure if I would ever like him.  He is domineering and powerful.  He holds a wicked secret that has hurt Eve and yet he is so drawn to her that it is almost painful to imagine them not getting together.  I loved and hated him.  I loathed and desired him.  I still am not sure I understood him completely.

In fact, I am not sure I understood exactly what has happened in the book completely.  But you can bet I damn sure felt it.  The lust, the need, the intensity of feelings, the desire for revenge and the desire for love.  This book took me on a journey that left me wanting to fill in the blanks.  Why did so many different unending roads in this book?  There is so much story I didn't get to read, and yes I know it is leading into the next book, but I really want answers now...lol  I am kinda spoiled that way.

Overall did I like the book?  Absolutely.  There is a lot of story going on, and you will get lost from time to time.  But be patient.  Don't just read the words, feel them.

I give this book 3.5 lipsticks!  =)
