Rock Chick Revolution Review!!!

Ally Nightingale has secrets. Secrets she doesn't even share with the Rock Chicks. But two men know what she's up to. One has her back. The other has her heart, but he doesn't know it.

As Ally rewinds the last year of her life, she knows two things. One, she’s never going to get what every Rock Chick should have—her own Hot Bunch guy. And two, she’s a Nightingale through and through. She just isn't sure what to do about that.

But as her secrets are revealed, the men in her life react. Darius Tucker, a lifelong friend, as usual takes her back. Ren Zano, the man she loves, isn't quite so sure. The Rock Chicks, Hot Bunch and the entire gang at Fortnum’s weigh in, and a Rock Chick Revolution starts brewing.

It’s up to Ally to control it and prove what she knows down to her bones.

She’s a Rock Chick, she deserves her hot guy and she’s going to keep the one she wants…

Because she’s a Nightingale.

I won't get into spoilers because this is a book you have to read and enjoy.  You all should know that I keep spoilers to a minimum anyway.  I will say this book was so bittersweet to read that at the end of it I didn't know whether I wanted to cry or jump up and down with happiness.  The Rock Chick Series is incredibly special to me, and although there is one book in the series I am not in love with, as a whole this series is my favorite of KA's.

Going into Revolution I wasn't sure how I truly felt about Ally Nightingale.  I was seriously annoyed with her throughout the first book because, like Indy, I thought she was childish and flighty.  Reading through this book I got to know a woman who had matured and was finally focused on what was important, her future and what she dreamed of doing with it.  So it should come as no surprise, knowing her family and her own knack for getting into trouble, what she chose as a career.  And who she chose to love.

Enter Ren Zano.  Ren we meet for the first time in Ava & Luke's book and we see how he sort of progresses from being infatuated with Ava, to falling in love with Ally.  Seems our boy has a thing for girls with A names =).  To be honest with you, I didn't understand how this dynamic would work, given Ally's and Ren's families.  They don't exactly mesh.  But as we all know, when a Rock Chick finds her Hot Bunch Guy, all bets are off.

Revolution gave us more insight to different sides of Lee & Hank, which I love, because I finally get to see how the siblings really interact with each other.  It is sort of glossed over in previous books, you know they love each other and have each other's best interest at heart, but you don't really see it.  In this book, you so do!  I love how over protective and loving her brothers are.  We also see Eddie and Darius play a bigger role in this novel.  Darius becomes less of a mystery and more of a brother.  It is beautiful.

To my beautiful friend Malia, Kit did you proud honey!

The epilogue in this book is so fantastic that when I read what Kit is doing next, I gasped, then burst into tears.  Yeah, it's that fucking good!

I give it 5 lipsticks!  It is the perfect ending to this series....
