Undeniable Review

Warning: This is not a typical love story. This is an all-consuming, soul-crushing, tear-your-heart-into-pieces story. It’s intense, gritty and raw, dark and disturbing, and it doesn’t happen overnight. This is an epic love story that knows no boundaries and has no time limits. It grows and develops—with hurt, sacrifice, and heartache—over the span of a lifetime.

Eva Fox is the princess of the Silver Demons Motorcycle Club. Growing up with bikers in the club lifestyle is all that she knows. When she’s a young girl, Eva meets the reason for her existence. Deuce West is the sexy, biker bad-ass of the Hell’s Horsemen Motorcycle Club. Like Eva, he was born and raised in the club—but that’s where the similarities end. Their first meeting is innocent, but as Eva matures into a woman, their chance reunions evolve into a fit of lust and love. Fate continues to bring them together time and time again, but their twisted journey is filled with pain, betrayal, and bloodshed that could tear them apart. Eva sees in Deuce what he cannot see in himself—a man worthy of love—and Eva spends her lifetime proving to him that her undeniable love is the one thing he can’t live without.

This is Eva and Deuce’s story.

It wasn’t easy.
Nothing worth doing ever is.
And love is worth everything.

Wow….I’m exhausted…..holy hell.
Ok so let me finally break this down.  This is not a happy book.  NOTHING about this novel says HEA, but in a sick and twisted way there is one.  I was warned but I have to be honest, I had no idea a “romance” could be this dark and brutal.
Eva is the lead female character and she is fundamentally flawed.  As I guess anyone who has grown up with just men in a MC would be.  There isn't a mention of one positive female role model in her life.  Now I am sure we could dissect that and go on some tangent about how a woman needs a woman to raise them to be strong and etc etc etc….but really who the hell cares?
Eva has only been cherished by her father.  Which you would think would mean she knows what to look for in a man.  But that too is where the problem lies.  Dad is Preacher, and Preacher is the president of the Demon MC.  So even though dad treats her like a princess, he still has no clue how to protect her from his brothers.
Deuce is a biker through and through.  The start of this book we see what appears to be a son who hates his father and ends up having him killed.  Seriously, that is our introduction to Deuce.  And throughout the book he stays that dark, in your face, unapologetic man.  There is nothing sweet and cuddly about him.  The closest we get to seeing a gentle side of him is when he deals with Eva as a child.
This book started with me thinking that this beautiful little girl (Eva is 5 at the start of the book) has found a big bad biker who is nice to her, and he is her HEA.  I quickly discovered that nothing about this book would be packaged so neatly.  There is death, betrayal, rape, torture, cruelty at every turn.  There isn't a place that is safe.
I read and then reread this book in a day.  I couldn't put it down.  I felt like I went through this journey with Eva, trying to find my place in this dark, raw and gritty world.  I was talking to a fellow forum member and she asked if I would read a whole series based on this book.  I am not sure I could emotionally handle it.  Madeline Sheehan broke my heart.  She gave me hope.  She ripped at my humanity.
And I loved it!

A solid 4 lipsticks!
